OPP has dropped Darkfall as our official game. Some of our members had grown tired of the intense grind. Not just the crazy stat and skill grind, but the gear grind on top of that. Although OPP members still play DF this change means that OPP members are not required to play DF.
Going forward we will be committing to less MMO's because MMO developers all seem to be following the WoW model of a simple game with lots of grinding. This is not fun for OPP and people that share our competitive mindset. We'll be anxiously watching GW2 and BF3 both slated to release this fall.
Until then we'll continue to have people playing DF as well as IPY2 and numerous FPS/RTS games.
