OPP has decided to part ways with the GA Alliance. The reason for our joining was to generate PvP for our guild. Since the TWO alliance disbanded GA has done very little PvP as a group, which eliminated our reason for joining. We appreciate them having us, the new friends we made, and the experience of participating in some truly epic battles.
Since the fall of TWO, OPP has been concerned about the alliance’s direction and what it means to the server as a whole. Rather than seeking new opportunities to engage in PvP for the sake of PvP, the focus of the alliance is directed wholly at engorging its already substantial wealth and entering in working agreements with anyone willing to help. It's that "anyone willing to help" that has grown the overall size of the alliance beyond what OPP was looking for when we decided to join. It is our belief that any large alliance without a similarly sized foe stifles PvP on the server. We do not condone the forming of an overwhelming zerg that will damage player activity on Kyrios.
OPP has and will continue to primarily be focused on fighting and promoting competitive PvP rather than worrying about the never ending pixel grind. We have been pleased with the current state of PvP on Kryios and look forward to what the next few expansions/patches will bring.
