Most of us were pretty good with pings. I for example, pinged 150 on avg - and it wasnt laggy at all.

The only types of games that are fun NOW are FPS or RTS type games. RPGs havent been able to make things Fun at all times - so i sincerely hope atleast ONE of these companies finds a way to do so. levelling for months to get to the highest level is fine - if the leveling is Fun. I am NOT surprised that eurogamers have taken this option and turned off the crits - and left it!
